WHICH ROOMS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT IN THE HOUSE?

Home is our oasis. It is at home that we relax after work, meet with loved ones, raise children.
It is here that we simply feel safe.
For our home to fulfill these functions, it must be well designed.
And “well” means, above all, that it meets our real, unspoken needs on a daily basis.
That’s why we posed the question – which rooms in the house are the most important, where do we spend the most time, and which zones should we put the most emphasis on to feel good?

Which rooms are the most important in the house?

In 2016, a survey was conducted among Polish Internet users [1] and directly resolved which rooms we spend the most time in.
This is important because there are often many false myths growing about the relevance, size and quantity.

Meanwhile, the leader in terms of the amount of time spent is definitely the living room (41% of those surveyed) – it is undoubtedly here that the center of our dream oasis is located.
Importantly, in second place is the kitchen (28%), which is often an adjacent room or is connected openly to the living room.
It should be mentioned that women were much more likely to indicate this room than men (39% compared to 16%).
Only one in ten Poles indicated the bedroom as the most preferred room.

Well-designed space

As the survey above shows, both the living room and kitchen are rooms where we spend a lot of time during the day.
Therefore, we proceed from the assumption that in order to feel comfortable in our home, we must have space, daylight and the ability to freely locate equipment and furniture that we will use intensively.
Consequently, this space should be designed to be as functional as possible, but also to give pleasure in daily use.

In our designs, the living room and kitchen are the absolute center.
They are a key zone for a good microclimate in the house, and thus they must please us in daily, repeated contact.
We know very well that in order to achieve this effect, it is necessary to take care of its proper area, height and amount of light.
So it is worth paying attention to the square footage, the height of the rooms or the amount of glazing in the living room and kitchen.
In our projects at Optima Home, we focus on optimal choice.
Our arrangements correspond to real needs and facts confirmed by research.
We also pay attention to the shape, positioning and size of the kitchen, which in our buildings is functional and well-connected.
Often it is also accompanied by accompanying rooms like storage rooms or a pantry.

Comfort for years of use

As a Developer that builds optimally, we want our buyers to feel comfortable in their own homes and know that they are buying concepts that will work later.
Our designs are timeless, characterized by the use of every square meter, reducing bevels that limit space.

The houses on our estates have a clearly separated living and sleeping areas.
Bedrooms are set up, well-lit, but not excessively large.
All this makes our projects a popular choice for people who know their expectations, choose optimally and value comfort and peace of mind for years to come.
