Why was ISO Optima Home certification important to us? The following post will take a closer look at the topic of certification and answer the question of why we took steps to obtain this certification and who supported us in guiding us through the process.
Why ISO 9001:2015 certification for Optima Home?
We are pleased to announce that we have passed the audit, which found that we meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System, under the watchful eye of PCC-Cert. We have implemented our proprietary standard called Optima System in the development projects we run. It consists of the entire management system of a development project. It has its beginning already at the stage of purchasing a plot of land, up to the handover of the finished property to the customer, along with collecting feedback from him. Further on – in accordance with the Kaizen philosophy – we draw conclusions and correct any imperfections for the future. Our goal is to provide customers with a predictable and positive buying process, and without successful acceptance this would not be possible. In 2024, we set a goal (one of many for this year) to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification. To make our Optima System construction standard even more organized, optimized and encapsulated in a series of repeatable procedures. So that the customer can receive a property (house or apartment) that was built on the basis of a proven and continuously improved standard. Our activities, organized by ISO 9001:2015, force us to constantly control, as well as introduce corrective actions. During the implementation of the quality management system, we were supported by an accredited certification body – PCC-Cert, which has many years of experience in certification. From the very beginning, we knew what we had to introduce, how to do it and what else to improve in order to meet the requirements of the ISO standard. The implementation of a quality management system allows for a deeper, internal verification of our activities, and thus standardizes at a high level the quality of the houses we build for sale in Ostroleka.
What is ISO 9001:2015 certification?
ISO 9001 (full name PN-EN ISO 9001:2015) is an international standard that defines the framework within which quality management systems operate in any organization around the world, regardless of their size, type or nature of business. The main requirement of the ISO standard is to introduce oversight of documentation and records, involve management in building a quality management system, structure resource management, establish processes and procedures and make systematic measurements, including customer satisfaction. Structured activities, by design, eliminate randomness and, importantly, potentiate the achievement of goals, which carries over to the manufactured product. In the case of Optima Home, this has a direct impact on the quality of our development projects, and consequently on our investments.
